Martha Graham once said that “…dancing is the hidden language of the soul…” and Agnes de Milles also said that “The truest expression of a people is in its dance and in its music. Bodies never lie.”

In a reality that is trying to dictate us what to feel and how to live our lives, what we need, now more than ever, is an ally to help us through. We need our soul. We need to let her talk, to let her express what we really feel.

For the past years in Greece an increasing number of people find refuge to this “parallel reality” and for a moment they set themselves free, they escape, they breath, and this fleeting moment is so strong that can change your life.

You don’t have to do a specific pattern, just raise your hand.
You don’t have to stretch your leg, just take a simple step.
You don’t have to do a pirouette, just turn to the back and then turn to the front once more.

You don’t have to Dance, just Walk.
You don’t have to be a Dancer, just Dance.
And get away with the music...

Because your experiences make you realize the music differently from the person right next to you and you know it.

What you don’t know is how to let your body interprete it, without any taboos, stereotypes or just pre-served patterns.

Learn the language that has so many dialects as are the people that speak it. Learn the language of Latin music and make it your own.

You can also enter to this “parallel reality” and say what you really want to say. Feel what you really need to feel, and that’s when you’ll breath and you’ll get away from it all. Just the way you want to.
