Kiki Kakoullis

Kiki has changed the social dance scene of Greece. He was born in Cyprus and graduated from the Sports Academy of Sofia in Bulgaria specialized in coaching dance in latin and ballroom dancing.

His dance life begins in 1989 in the biggest dance school in Cyprus. Over 11 years until the age of 18, he learned latin, ballroom, flamenco, salsa, Cypriot and Greek folclore dances.

In October 2002 he moved to Sofia. He started teaching salsa in the largest school of its kind in Bulgaria, participates in a dance team and traveling to dozens of countries around the world giving classes at international salsa festivals.

From December 2005 until December 2009, is engaged in competition level with salsa. Along with Eli Kostova, compete with the champions of the whole planet, distracting places in top ten in the world and present their work in Europe and America.

In January 2008 establishes Salsa Sinners, the first center exclusively for salsa in our country, in order to promote social dance and Latin music.

From 2010 is participating in dance competitions as a judge in many salsa festivals including countries like Holland, Bulgaria and Turkey.

He is the artistic director of Salsa the Musical in 2011 and recently the director of the dance documentary Stigmes in 2013.

As a choreographer, he has presented his work through musical productions, theatrical performances, music videos, TV shows and dance festivals both in Greece and abroad.
